The Dance down program was formulated from both the successful Club Slick Demonstration team and a pilot dance program, for children aged 5-10 years, run by Down Syndrome South Australia (DSSA) in 2011. It is now a weekly dance program for people with Down syndrome and other chromosomal disorders.

All groups rehearse weekly on a Monday afternoon and evening during school term times. Dance Down classes are held at the Glenunga Hub on Monday

The Dance Down Performance team dance at promotional events for DSSA and are available to be booked to perform at other events, raising funds for the organisation. All groups have the opportunity to perform at DSSA's Family Fun day which gives all participants a chance to showcase their routines to their families.

In December we celebrate with our Dance Down Concert performance for family and friends.
